After a murder seemingly connected to drugs draws Operation Trident's attention to Sun Hill, they begin to suspect that Yardie gangs may be active in the region. Conway's initiative to engage taxi drivers in assisting the police pays off when an overly eager cab driver delivers Wesley Carter to the station, claiming he overheard him arranging a drug transaction. As Carter’s ties to gangster Leroy Jones come to light, Trident sends Rickman undercover. During their meeting, Jones reveals that he’s attempting to tackle the Yardies' drug operations, but faces opposition from a rival gang, putting Rickman in danger during a drive-by shooting.
