As the renovations at Sun Hill create a whirlwind of chaos, P.C. Abe Lyttleton shows up a day ahead of schedule. He’s the first black officer at the station, and while he quickly wins over his colleagues with his warm demeanor, not everyone is welcoming—particularly the prejudiced P.C. Pete Muswell. Meanwhile, D.C. Dashwood spots a man submitting paperwork for a vehicle but notices he's using a fake name and address. With the personal radios down during electrical work, a crucial CID operation is compromised.
