Episode Overview
P.C. Melvin and P.C. Ramsey are stationed in a garden shed, keeping an eye on a garage suspected of hiding stolen motorbikes. As Ramsey playfully teases Melvin about his Christian beliefs, a stray ball shatters the window. This prompts a heated argument between the shed's owner and his family, drawing Melvin and Ramsey away to handle the domestic dispute, which causes them to miss the arrival of the suspect at the garage. Meanwhile, Ch. Insp. Conway is at a Town Hall meeting with residents from the Jasmine Allen Estate, but tensions quickly escalate into chaos. P.C. Smith brings in a violent, drug-fueled suspect from the estate, only for the man to succumb to an overdose at Sun Hill, triggering a potential riot outside. Insp. Frazer faces the challenge of persuading the man's father to redirect the mob's anger towards the drugs, rather than the police.
