Episode Overview

P.C. Yorkie Smith teams up with P.C. Taffy Edwards to manage a traffic jam instigated by a young man named Mickey Cozens. When Mickey's father arrives at the station, he reveals that his son has a mental age of just seven. Smith offers to drive them home, but when Mickey’s dad reprimands him, Mickey reacts violently and knocks Smith out cold. In a panic, his father throws Smith into the police car and speeds off. A witness reports the abduction, triggering a frantic chase until the car is finally stopped, and Yorkie is found alive but dazed. Meanwhile, a couple returns from vacation to discover their entire garden—trees, lawn, and greenhouse—has been stripped bare, a twist of fate considering the husband was rumored to have stolen those plants from the council in the first place.
