Viv pays a visit to a remand inmate, only to find herself taken hostage during the encounter. Once she manages to escape, she learns that all the charges against him are fabricated. Meanwhile, Melvin observes from a balcony in a shopping center as a man is confronted by two Black men and shot at close range. The victim was on his way to pick up a sniper rifle at Paddington station.
