Lisa and Bryce, local artisan curators, discover they have the ability to pickle just about anything. Meanwhile, Fred assists Carrie in pursuing a charming mixologist, played by Andy Samberg, who seems to forget his roots after relocating from Portland to LA. The duo encounters a challenging waiter, portrayed by Kumail Nanjiani, while dining at a themed restaurant. Kath and Dave's emergency signals are put to the test during a river rafting adventure. Lastly, feminist shopkeepers Toni and Candice enlighten an A/C repairman on the concepts of the "phallus" and the "opposite of a phallus" that exist within everyone.
