Episode Overview
Title: Brunch Village Plot: The newly opened brunch spot, Fisherman’s Porch, receives a glowing feature in the local newspaper, leading Peter and Nance to check it out, only to be met with an overwhelming crowd. Meanwhile, Portland’s Mayor (Kyle MacLachlan) invites Fred and Carrie for brunch, but when an unexpected bridge closure occurs, he must navigate through alternative paths. Feminist bookstore owners Toni and Candace take matters into their own hands to clear the line of brunch-goers outside their shop. Nance asks Peter to hold her place while she grabs her jacket, but upon her return, she faces accusations of cutting in line. Two bouncers take her to a furious man (Tim Robbins) who punishes line cutters, leaving Peter to rescue her.
