Episode Overview

Sapphire bravely reaches out to the darkness, risking everything in the process. Meanwhile, Steel strikes a deal, offering a potent source of bitterness in return for their passage back to the present. The soldier discloses the dark entity's promise to the spirits, but Steel counters with a more enticing proposal. The darkness fulfills its end of the agreement, leaving Sapphire and Steel with the responsibility to honor their side, even if it means jeopardizing the very fabric of time.
