Lucifer finds it hard to focus on the murder of a stand-in actress due to his mother’s recent escape from hell. As he and Chloe delve into the case, Chloe’s trust in Lucifer is challenged by the arrival of the new medical examiner, Ella. Simultaneously, Amenadiel tries to help Lucifer control his reckless behavior while they both grapple with Maze's absence.
