Phoebe is growing tired of constantly spending time with Link and decides he needs a new hobby. They eventually discover his passion for being a superhero, which excites her. However, when Link is assigned to a different location, Phoebe becomes reluctant to see him leave. Determined to change his mind, she plans one last night together. Meanwhile, Max enlists Billy and Nora's assistance in his quest to create a chili that can outshine Mrs. Wong's in a televised cooking competition.
