Episode Overview
Reardon's crew strategizes on how to intercept the bikers' money courier. Forrest introduces Mary to his former CIA associate, Flannegan, who provides her with insights about CSIS Director Royden's connections in the U.S. in return for details on Luiz Falcone, a Mexican drug trafficker. Meanwhile, Mallaby alerts Mary that Homicide is stirring up trouble in Ottawa regarding access to Lee's files. Ronnie arranges for Sweet to manage their new stash house. Reardon's attorney pressures him to establish his own bank. Martin uncovers plans by an American agri-business to appropriate Canadian researchers' seed patents. Mary seeks to have Deakins suspended from CSIS. Reardon's attempt to hit the bikers' courier escalates into violence as he finds himself alongside an undercover drug operative when they're stopped by the police. Ultimately, Mary and Flannegan learn that Luiz Falcone enjoys DEA protection.
