Episode Overview

Caitlin reflects on her past and discovers that her first encounter with Charlie occurred years ago, a meeting that ultimately cost her what could have been an incredible relationship. In a flashback, we see a more conservative Caitlin and the charismatic Charlie at a lively college party. This revelation prompts Caitlin to question her relationship with Tom, leading her to share a kiss with Charlie. Meanwhile, the Mayor serves drinks at a fundraiser where Paul attempts to impress a woman, while her friend finds herself attracted to Carter, who is openly gay.
