Episode Overview

A young geneticist is found stabbed in the Paris Catacombs, her back marked with a symbol associated with Satanism. Jo believes this might be a crime driven by passion. However, the investigation takes a surprising twist when they uncover that the victim had been experimenting with plague bacteria sourced from the catacombs' skeletons. The clues point toward a mysterious woman who may be a serial killer on the loose, seemingly targeting the family of a notable politician. Ultimately, they discover that the culprit is Nicole Wallace, once the arch-nemesis of Det. Robert Goren from Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
