Episode Overview

Sheppard and Lewis delve into the mysterious death of a man who had a twin brother. Meanwhile, Gharty expresses a desire to embrace life as he and Ballard investigate the death of a teenager. Bayliss develops a crush on Sheppard and later seeks guidance from Stivers, who advises him to wait his turn behind Lewis and Falsone. During their investigation, Lewis and Sheppard speak with the surviving twin and his mother, who supports his account while they explore the dead twin's girlfriend as a potential suspect. In the other case, a friend of the deceased teen reveals that the shooting occurred in D.C., not Baltimore, as they had initially believed. Gee aims to transfer the case to D.C. Meanwhile, Mike Giardello applies for an FBI position, but the only available roles involve liaising with local police. He meets with Gaffney, who is enthusiastic about the prospect, much to Mike's surprise.
