Episode Overview

Infuriated, Bayliss confronts Danvers, resulting in a threat of charges against him. Meanwhile, Gee's daughter Teresa arrives to celebrate her father's promotion, prompting Gee to urge Bayliss to apologize to Danvers, which Bayliss refuses. Additionally, Lewis and Falsone investigate the murder of a drug addict, with her unsupportive mother-in-law and a nun sister complicating matters. Struggling with his new role, Gee ultimately declines the promotion, leading to confrontations between Bayliss and Lewis about their approaches to past traumas.
