The Mertzes decide it's time for a makeover, and Lucy and Ricky step in to lend a hand. However, when Fred switches on a fan while Lucy is removing stuffing from a chair, feathers and paint get sent everywhere. Feeling guilty about the mess they've made, Lucy decides to gift Ethel her own living room furniture to make up for the disaster.
