I Love Lucy (1951)

Episode Overview

Determined to get her hands on a designer dress, Lucy resolves to start a hunger strike until Ricky acquiesces. Her strategy seems effective, despite Ethel sneaking her food behind the scenes, and Ricky eventually relents, purchasing the lavish dress for her. However, when he learns about Lucy's antics, he gets creative and cobbles together a wild outfit made from burlap, claiming it to be a genuine Parisian original.
