I Love Lucy (1951)

Episode Overview

Lucy eagerly hopes to land a role in a skit with Orson Welles at Ricky's club, mistakenly believing it's a Shakespearean production. When Welles informs her that she can participate, Lucy excitedly reaches out to her former high school drama teacher to share the good news. Her teacher, thrilled for Lucy, arranges for the entire drama class to come to Club Babalu to watch her perform. However, Lucy's excitement quickly turns to disappointment when she discovers that Welles only intended for her to assist him with a magic trick.
