Mario, the gondolier from Venice who works for the Ricardos and Mertzes, arrives in New York to surprise his brother, Dominic. When he cannot locate him, he ends up at the Ricardos' apartment. Lucy, convinced that Dominic is in San Francisco, decides to assist Mario in gathering enough money for the bus fare. Her determined attempts lead to an unexpected outcome.
