Bear in the Big Blue House (1997)

Episode Overview

Bear is hard at work baking his yearly cookie batch for the Woodland Valley friends when he receives a call from Ojo and Tutter. They’re role-playing as detectives from the Big Blue House, but they feel they’ve cracked every case. To give them a fun challenge, Bear blindfolds them with dishtowels and invites them to play "What is It?" Using their other senses, they identify a flower and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The adventure continues when Treelo reports his missing "banananana." With Bear’s help, they use touch and smell to locate the old banana. Once the cookies are done, the kids decide to limit their senses to taste in hopes of getting some treats. However, Bear surprises them, as he was already planning to share. They enjoy the cookies outside while Pip and Pop marvel at the beautiful sounds, sights, and smells of nature.
