A young Chadra-Fan snatches Jyn's kyber crystal necklace, prompting her to sprint after him. After a brief pursuit, she manages to catch up and reclaim her necklace. However, upon closer inspection, she sees that the child is merely hungry, leading her to offer him her piece of fruit as an act of kindness.
