Episode Overview

Steve eagerly anticipates his father's visit, expecting a big surprise. However, he is shocked when Deacon Clarence Hightower arrives looking youthful and stylish, accompanied by his much younger fiancée, Jasmine, who is just 25. At school, Regina unveils her latest student, Amy, a remarkable nine-year-old with extraordinary musical talent, who impresses everyone in class. Infatuated with Romeo, she goes to her dad’s electronics store to snag some pricey gifts for him. As Steve introduces Clarence and Jasmine to the faculty, Clarence reveals his plans to marry Jasmine on a Bermuda cruise. Suspicious, Steve and Lovita express their doubts about the relationship, but under pressure to be supportive, he decides to throw them a farewell party. Later, he uncovers that Jasmine has taken out a hefty life insurance policy on Clarence.
