Episode Overview

Steve manages to persuade Romeo to join the mostly female choir, but soon realizes that the teen is completely tone-deaf. As part of the school's mentor program, Steve is tasked with guiding Romeo and sees this as an opportunity to connect. Initially uninterested, Romeo changes his mind when he learns about the choir's female members. However, during the first rehearsal, Steve instantly regrets his decision when he hears Romeo's lack of singing ability. Meanwhile, Bullethead faces trouble when a bully named Deandre starts taunting him. Distressed, Bullethead turns to Cedric for assistance. Cedric and Steve provide him with strategies to handle the situation. At the same time, Lovita tries her hand at matchmaking by posting Regina's number on the church's singles board, but Regina isn't pleased and asks her to stop. Despite recognizing how much the choir means to the students, Steve struggles to find a way to break the news to Romeo.
