However, when she opts to slash funds for Steve's new high-tech study hall, he reaches his breaking point and resigns. After Lydia's palm reading hints at financial and romantic troubles, Lovita discovers Cedric’s secret savings. When Lovita returns to Steve's apartment, Cedric stumbles upon evidence of her own hidden funds, leading to confrontation and ultimately, Cedric moving in with Steve.
