Episode Overview

Dr. Steven Kiley finds himself in the hospital, much to his embarrassment, due to Chicken Pox. While there, he becomes intrigued by "Dutch" Radtke, a burly oil worker who is terrified at the thought of undergoing surgery. Radtke's doctor intends to perform exploratory surgery to check for bladder cancer. Although Dr. Kiley has been researching tropical diseases and suggests alternative testing methods, he struggles to contact Radtke's physician. As a result, on the eve of his scheduled surgery, Radtke decides to make a run for it and escapes the hospital.
