Episode Overview

In 2007, Effie and Michael Ratley's mobile home in Florida goes up in flames, with Michael bravely saving both his wife and their baby. However, just a month later, Effie's lifeless body is discovered, brutally beaten in a bedroom at Michael's parents' house. While a slashed window screen suggests a possible break-in, the absence of concrete evidence leads detectives to turn their attention to Michael himself.
