Ganta encounters Karako and Nagi, the heads of the insurgent group Scar Chain, who come to Minatsuki's aid in a dire situation. However, Ganta also crosses paths with Genkaku, a monk armed with a guitar, who possesses a disturbing knack for inflicting violence.
