The Bugaloos (1970)
S01E15 The Bugaloos Bugaboo
Episode Overview
Sparky feels downhearted because he hasn't received any letters from Gina Lola-Wattage. Although the Bugaloos try to reassure him that she's just busy, Sparky thinks it's because she's a famous rock star and he's just a "nobody." The Bugaloos encourage him to pursue his dreams, leading Sparky to try his hand at songwriting. With their support, he creates a little song titled "I Really Love You." Word gets to Benita Bizarre, who learns that Sparky is the true creative force behind the Bugaloos. She transforms into "J.W. Wooster, Hollywood Agent, Extraordinare," and recruits Sparky as her songwriter. She then uses his work in Peter Platter's "Big Talent Contest," where the winner earns a spot on Peter's "Big TV Show." The Bugaloos set out to rescue Sparky from her grasp.
