Searching for meaning, Allen Ross immerses himself in the world of a New Age group known as the Samaritans. Under the spell of their magnetic leader, Linda Greene, he relocates to their secluded monastery in Oklahoma. However, Allen soon discovers that this seemingly idyllic community harbors sinister secrets, trapping him in a web of manipulation and control from which he may struggle to break free.
