Episode Overview
Yuri Stavrogan, a new pilot, manipulates Kaz's impulsive nature, leading him to disregard J.T.'s commands and creating friction among the trio. As the ExoFleet launches an offensive on Mercury, Kaz and Yuri focus on defeating Thrax, renowned as the top Neo pilot. The ExoFleet successfully captures a Neo base, but Neo Commander Glycon retaliates, luring ExoFleet e-frames into a trap for Thrax and his Neo frames. Although the ground attack is thwarted, the Neo e-frames manage to strike the ExoFleet forces. Despite being grounded by Marsh for his disobedience, Kaz joins the battle. In a fierce dogfight with Thrax, he loses when the sun blinds him, prompting Thrax to show mercy and spare Kaz’s life.
