Episode Overview

The murder of a wealthy woman's husband ignites a chain of events tied to his affair with her estranged cousin. Virgil quickly suspects the two but faces significant resistance from Gillespie, a longtime friend of the husband, and Bubba, who is romantically involved with the cousin. Tensions rise as Bubba and Virgil clash once more, leaving Virgil exasperated when the Chief dismisses his theories regarding the crime.
