Episode Overview

Hampton Forbes steps into the role of Chief of Police, while Bill takes on the position of Sheriff in Newman County. Wade Hatton, a former Spartan, returns to Sparta to find clarity in his life and to reconnect with Sarah Hallisey. Bubba and Covey introduce the new chief to the town, while Bill shows Wade around, including a visit to some distant relatives. In a darker subplot, two young delinquents manipulate a mentally challenged man into committing a serious crime.
