Episode Overview

Following his defeat to Richie in the fifth round, Ash sulks in disappointment over his loss. Misty encourages him to cheer for Richie, who has now advanced to the quarterfinals. However, when Richie is eliminated, both Ash and Misty are forced to reflect on their own abilities as trainers and reassess what it truly means to be successful.
