Episode Overview

At the Pastoria Gym, Ash takes on Crasher Wake in a 3-on-3 Gym Battle, fielding Pikachu, Turtwig, and Buizel, while Wake counters with Gyarados, Quagsire, and Floatzel. During the match, Pikachu mistakenly zaps Buizel, leading to a heated disagreement that hampers their efforts to support Ash against Wake. However, when Buizel saves Pikachu from an incoming attack, they reconcile their differences. With their newfound teamwork, Ash secures victory over Wake, earning himself the Fen Badge.
