Following Trip's battle with Alder, the Junior Cup comes to an end, and the competitors say their goodbyes. Ash, Iris, and Cilan encounter Cameron, an eager and inexperienced trainer who wishes to join them on their journey. Dawn also prepares to leave, but not before challenging Ash to a practice match.
