Returning to Pallet Town, Ash and his friends find that Brock has unexpectedly reappeared, but he remains tight-lipped about his departure from Valencia Island. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is up to their usual antics as they attempt to swipe every Pokémon from Professor Oak’s lab, using a vacuum to suck up all the Pokéballs, including the GS Ball that Oak has been experimenting with. Will Ash and his friends manage to retrieve it before it’s too late?
