Episode Overview
As Ash and his friends unwind in a serene forest, they suddenly find themselves ambushed by three Mightyena and a Poochyena. Just as they’re struggling to defend themselves, Katrina, the local Forest Ranger, arrives to drive off the wild Pokémon and offers to take them to her home. Meanwhile, Team Rocket catches wind of the forest’s abundance of rare Pokémon. At Katrina's place, Max forms a connection with her Poochyena and attempts to encourage its evolution, but his efforts yield little success. Will Poochyena evolve, and will Max grasp the true significance of evolution?
