Pokémon (1997)

Episode Overview

Ash and his friends are on a quest to locate the Battle Factory but find themselves lost in the snowy landscape. They spot an Articuno soaring above and notice a plane in trouble. Their journey leads them to a Pokémon Center, where Scott offers them a ride to the Battle Factory. There, they meet Noland, the Factory Head and a skilled mechanic, who happens to be the pilot of the downed plane. Noland allows Ash to choose any of his Pokémon for a battle. He has a special bond with an Articuno he once rescued, and he takes Max and Pikachu for a flight with the Legendary Pokémon. Meanwhile, Team Rocket arrives in their own aircraft, intent on capturing Articuno, but they are no match for its power and are swiftly sent away. Inspired by the encounter, Ash is eager to challenge Articuno, and he decides to battle it with Charizard. It promises to be an exciting showdown!
