Episode Overview
As Ash and his friends make their way to the Battle Arena, they stop to take a breather. When they find themselves out of water, Ash, May, and Brock head off to find some, leaving Max behind to look after the Pokémon. However, when Munchlax devours all the food, chaos erupts, attracting the ire of nearby Geodude, who retaliate by attacking the Pokémon. This causes Pikachu, Corphish, Phanpy, Squirtle, and Munchlax to get separated from the group. Meanwhile, Team Rocket deceives Onix, the king of the Rock Pokémon, into believing Ash and his friends are villains, prompting Onix to unleash its Rock-type army against them. Unbeknownst to the Rock Pokémon, Team Rocket plans to use them to capture Pikachu and the rest.
