Episode Overview
The heroes make their way to Mossdeep City, only to discover that the Gym Leader Ash wishes to challenge is at the Mossdeep Research Center. Upon arriving, they meet Tate and Liza, who have just finished a battle. Ash is taken aback to find out that he must face both of them in a Double Battle, as they are a duo of Gym Leaders. Meanwhile, Max and Tate explore a space shuttle at the center, but their adventure takes a turn when they come across Team Rocket, who are plotting to steal the shuttle.
