As Police Inspector Clifford investigates, he learns of a chilling parallel to another murder. He tunes into a broadcast featuring local author Natalie, who writes about a 17th Century countess notorious for having an eagle that killed her husband after he imprisoned her, along with her numerous lovers. Intrigued, Clifford reaches out to Natalie for insights, and his inquiry leads him to suspect Mrs. Henska, an elderly European with ties to the infamous countess.
