Zoe sets out to uncover her family roots in Bluebell and learns she is part of the Bluebell Belles legacy. When Lemon hears this news, she becomes determined to prevent Zoe from officially joining the group, subjecting her to an embarrassing initiation process. Meanwhile, Lavon seeks to re-enter the dating world with Wade's assistance, but struggles since Didi is spreading word that he’s infatuated with her. In another part of town, George hatches a scheme to prevent a major chain store from opening nearby, which would threaten local businesses in Bluebell.
