Brick is disheartened to learn that George has been chosen as Bluebell’s Man of the Year. As the mayor, Lavon is tasked with organizing a cocktail party to celebrate George, but his complicated past with Lemon complicates matters. Thankfully, Zoe offers her assistance to Lavon, but chaos ensues when she is unexpectedly put on the spot to deliver a speech during the event. Meanwhile, Magnolia pleads with Wade to compose a song and perform it alongside her at the party.
