Determined to redirect Joel’s focus, she makes an effort to draw him back into his creative work. Lavon, on the other hand, uses his track coaching duties as a way to dodge any conversations with AnnaBeth. Meanwhile, Lemon pushes Brick to consider reentering the dating scene. George and Lynly find themselves contemplating whether to open up to Lavon about their feelings for one another.
