Episode Overview
Momiji and the TAC find sanctuary in Sakura's apartment as they evade government scrutiny while searching for a solution to the Arigami threat. Sakura reveals to them that the US cannot offer help unless specifically invited by the Japanese government due to their treaty. The TAC hopes the apartment will provide enough cover for their ongoing research, but their hopes are dashed when Murakumo appears. In the chaos, Yaegashi is injured while trying to protect Kome, and Murakumo abducts Momiji. Murakumo takes her to the location where Kaede and Susano-oh are hiding, intending to use Momiji as leverage against Kaede, whom he plans to kill. Just then, Kusanagi arrives, sparking a fierce fight. Kaede manages to rescue Momiji, but in the process, her mitama is lost, though Kusanagi retrieves it. Suddenly, the enormous mitama, Susano-oh's resting place, begins to tremble violently. With the new mitama
