Episode Overview
As dawn breaks, the TAC gears up for their crucial confrontation. The team works on the Kushinada pulse amplifying device while Momiji readies herself for the Rite of Matsuri. With the solar eclipse less than an hour away, Kaede initiates the ceremony, placing a sword against the field surrounding Susano-oh, causing it to transform into a grotesque creature. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister's aide urges him to mislead the public to maintain order. However, when he addresses the nation, he chooses honesty, revealing that the chaos stems from an ancient monster race known as the Arigami and that only the Kushinada can defeat them. Momiji then appears on air, pleading for the people of Japan to allow her a chance at an alternative method to vanquish Susano-oh. She vows to accept her fate if her plan fails. Momiji then commences the Rite of Matsuri.
