Episode Overview

On graduation day, Ippo proudly joins his classmates in celebration. Throughout high school, he emerged as a champion, becoming the admired star among his peers. This newfound recognition drives a surge of aspiring boxers to join the Kamogawa Club, largely influenced by Takamura, Aoki, and Kimura. However, most of the newcomers lack the determination for boxing and quickly face reality as Takamura puts them through a grueling jog, revealing their limitations. Only one dedicated fan, Ippo Yamada, surprisingly manages to keep pace with the seasoned boxers.
