As Coach Okita Date celebrates with the champion, Ippo expresses his gratitude for the match before being carried out on a stretcher to cheers from the crowd. Meanwhile, Takeshi Sendo is furious at Ippo's victory. He had anticipated winning and challenging Ippo, but now he realizes he's been surpassed by two fighters. Just then, Vorg makes his entrance, and both boxers find themselves in a similar predicament; they are both eager to seek revenge on Makunouchi!
