Episode Overview
After Mayor Larry Bowman is murdered, Dusty, the coroner and a close friend of the mayor, teams up with the police to uncover the truth. With everyone under suspicion, including the officers themselves, they begin interrogating various individuals, including Marilyn Bowman, the mayor's wife, who responds in her typical fashion. Meanwhile, the local news crew arrives to cover the breaking story, but without their usual camera operator Shaye and reporter Corrinda Gablechuck, who are both unavailable. Instead, Heather Weather, the weather girl, steps in for Corrinda, revealing her aspirations and limitations. As the funeral approaches, Marnie encourages Ricky to attend, but he hesitates, believing the mayor wouldn't have wanted him there due to their complicated history. Just as the police think they have identified the killer, another Shuckton resident becomes Death's next target.
