Following Kiki’s murder, Hector is relocated to Mexico, where he finds himself at the helm of a joint operation with DEA agents and Mexican soldiers. This collaboration leads to the longest and most lethal gunfight in DEA history. Although this puts a hefty bounty on his head, it catches the attention of the DEA leadership, who recognize Hector's tenacity and appoint him to spearhead the investigation into Kiki’s killing.
